Brookline Patch Column: Language Explosion!

As many of you know, Nomi and I take an interest in language, which is understandable given Nomi's linguistics background and our work as editors and writers. We've been particularly interested in gauging the language development in Muffin and Squeakers.

Nomi's latest The Brookline Parent column at Brookline Patch is all about their recent development in language.

Go read Language Explosion! to find out about such wonderful phrases as "Fred the Bear keeps Muffin protected safe from the heater" and maybe you'll also figure out why Muffin sometimes reminds us of a certain clip of the late Senator Ted Stevens of Alaska.
