Exercise in Paranoia

Read V for Vendetta by Alan Moore et. al. and No Place to Hide by Robert O'Harrow Jr. all in one day.

Comments

Just read the newspaper, cheaper version and no paranoia needed.... it's happening now! =)

I assume that V was good? It's one I want to pick up soon, haven't had a chance to read it yet.
Frankly, I far preferred Watchmen to V. But don't let that stop you.
I also really enjoyed Watchmen. It was very well done. I figure I might just check out the movie version of V for now, maybe even tomorrow, and then worry about reading it later. I have a billion comics to read as it is anyway. =)
I'm thinking of seeing the movie, but at any rate, I wanted to make sure to experience Alan Moore's story the way he originally meant it before I went to see the movie. Now I'm curious as to how faithfully they adapted certain parts.
I'm looking forward to hearing you on the subject of V (book and / or movie!)...

I don't know which I prefer, V or Watchmen: what I do think is that V is a better book to recommend to readers who are not already hooked on comics. I love Watchmen, but one of the things I love about it is the way it talks about comics, which makes it more appealing to people who are already fans.
