My Puzzling Friends #1
So, as you may recall, my high school friend Andrew Greene (LJ:
530nm330hz) had his first puzzle ever in the New York Times. He was one of the co-constructors for the puzzle that ran Sunday, August 26.
I organized The Great Brookline Crossword Puzzle Event, an attempt to gather a few people in one location to work on Andrew's puzzle, so he could have photographs of people solving his puzzle.
As it turned out, we had six people (plus two babies) show up to solve the puzzle, and we did get a few pictures. First, here's me, trying to solve the puzzle:
How well did I do? Let's just say I'm still working on it. :-)
Nomi also worked on the puzzle that morning:
As did Bob & Mabel:
(
elul_3 was also there, but I have no pictures of her to share.)
Finally, we were graced by the presence of the constructor himself:
Afterwards, we went out to lunch at Rami's, and a good time was had by all.
