Busy Weekend

Coming up for air briefly just to note that I've got a busy weekend coming up. I'm heading to New York City to deal with some remaining estate issues and to attend my high school reunion. The nice thing is that although I'm staying downtown, I've managed to connect with two synagogues in the area, the Synagogue for the Arts and the Bialystoker Synagogue, so I'm covered for shabbat.

But in other news, I have an article of tips on creating new words for science fiction stories about to published on the web. Watch this space; I'll announce it when I can.

And just maybe I'll be able to get back to regular blogging soon.

"Writing the Language of the Future" in Reflection's Edge

So for those of you who are patiently (I hope) awaiting my next installment in my discussion of Robert's Rules of Writing, and have been hoping for fresh writing advice from my pen...

I'm pleased to announce that my article "Writing the Language of the Future" is now available as part of the June 2007 issue of Reflection's Edge (issue number 26). If you're a writer of science fiction, and you're looking for a few tips on how to create new words for your future worlds, feel free to check it out. And while you're at it, check out the rest of the issue as well.
