ALA Conference Plans

The American Library Association is having their Midwinter Meeting in Boston this weekend, and for those who are interested, here's my plan.

I have a pass for the exhibits only. I plan to head over to the Hynes Convention Center on Sunday afternoon, arriving around 1:30 PM. After I register, I'll spend the afternoon touring the exhibit halls.

Josepha Sherman is coming to town, and at 5 PM, she and I will meet up and take the T to Brookline. gnomi and I plan to have dinner with her at Taam China.

If you want to hang out with me at the ALA, let me know so we can arrange to meet. And if you want to join Josepha and us for dinner, let me know that as well.

"Time Ablaze" Available for Free

For anyone who is interested --

As "Time Ablaze" made it to the Nebula preliminary ballot, it is now being offered as a FREE ebook from Fictionwise. If you wish to download a copy for your own personal reading enjoyment, just follow the link below. (Oddly enough, Fictionwise calls it a novelette, but both Analog and the Nebulas consider it a novella.)

Supposedly, the story will also be available for free at the Analog webpage at some point as well.
