It's after 11 - we want video! :-)
He is such an interesting guy. My husband has met him at several science meetings, and he regularly attends Worldcon, where I met him once. That's my kind of Vatican Astronomer!
We first met him at a Boskone...
He's in town?
Not any more. It was a lightning visit, to spend a few days working in a physics lab at Boston College. I have so many friends in the Boston area that I had to keep things low-key or I would never have had any time to get my work done. (Yes, I actually do get work done, on rare occasions... but in someone else's lab. Almost as good as someone else's kitchen...)
I guessed it must have been something like that. Aw, well. It's like you actually have a JOB or something.
I only found out he was around because someone twittered about it. And had our apartment not been on his way home last night, I would not now have an autographed copy of God's Mechanics.
So what's the Pope going to do about Pluto?
That was fun. :-)
Congratulations on the reelection.

you never cease to amaze me
You have the coolest constituents. ;)
