And the Debate Rages On...

(Thanks to marsgov for pointing this out. The original XKCD cartoon can be found at http://xkcd.com/473/.)

Comments

A friend sent me a t-shirt a couple of weeks ago. It says "When I was your age, Pluto was a planet."

I wore it to the Chicago Children's Museum and got numerous positive comments on it from staff and parents.

Recorded For Posterity

I can remember when Pluto was the farthest planet from the Sun. And then it wasn't. And then it was again.

None of my descendants will have this experience for many generations to come, but neither will I live to see Pluto complete its first orbit since discovery.
I forwarded this to Andy :)
Btw, this year's Worldcon Masquerade had two pro-Pluto costumes. One a Master's level group extravaganza with all the planets inluding Pluto, and the other a young fan dressed as an alien carrying a pro-Pluto protest sign. She then threatened to "eat the face" of anyone who denied Pluto's planetary status.
Now that character will understand how it feels to be kicked out on his rear, just like Pluto.
Awesome.

BTW, I'm betting you still haven't checked this MP3 out...

So much for the aliens at Tombaugh Station.

Junebug to Peewee, come in.
